Stephanie is an owner of Encore Lending Group and a licensed mortgage professional. With her background in finance, she brings experience and expertise to the table. Stephanie has lived in Johnson City since 2003 and developed deep roots within the community. Through civic groups and volunteer organizations as well as many other activities, Stephanie has shown her commitment to the continued growth of Northeast Tennessee. Prior to her move to Johnson City, Stephanie worked with Harley Davidson in Atlanta, GA and with David’s Bridal in Atlanta, GA.
Stephanie’s previous experiences in a fast pass environment and paying close attention to detail has made her a successful Mortgage Officer with Encore Lending Group. Jim Hughes is an experienced Mortgage Consultant and Loan Officer, and Co-Owner of Encore Lending Group, which he founded with two partners.
In his current role Jim offers his clients comprehensive mortgage and refinancing services, with an emphasis on “true customer service”. Encore also offers “super” competitive rates and a wide range of conventional and government-based products, including VA, FHA, THDA, and USDA Rural Development, to name a few.
Prior to starting Encore Lending, Jim worked as a Senior Mortgage Consultant for Weber Financial Services and as a Realtor, for a combined total of 18 years housing and mortgage industry experience. He holds a Tennessee & Virginia Mortgage Originator’s License and a Real Estate Broker’s License (currently grandfathered).
He is a member of the Northeast Tennessee Association of Realtors and the Tennessee Association of Realtors. He also maintains a rigorous continuing education program, which allows him to stay current and knowledgeable with ever-changing trends in the mortgage industry that ultimately impact his clients.
